The digital control offers the ease of temperature setting and the stability of a full PID microprocessor that accurately maintains settings within ±0.5°C (1°F), even in varying ambient or power supply conditions. Large LED's continuously display set temperature and process temperature, as well as a setting lock mode that provides protection against accidental or inadvertent adjustment. This gravity convection lab oven is ideal for drying, baking, sterilizing, evaporating, heat treating, annealing, and testing. The oven uses energy efficient, low-watt density incoloy-sheathed elements for rapid run-up and recovery times. The control panel features an illuminated on/off rocker switch, a heat/cycle pilot light, and a bimetal thermostat. The oven’s interior is constructed of corrosive-resistant aluminized steel, and the interior work space is insulated from the outer cabinet with 1˝ of high-density mineral wool. The cabinet is constructed of heavy double-wall steel, and the exterior has a scratch-resistant hammer finish for durability. The oven door has a high-impact thermoplastic handle. UL- and CSA-recognized oven components.
